Study Description
This study focused on issues of sex roles and fertility control. Researchers surveyed 765 respondents and collected data on marital history; background demographics; parents’ marital relationship; parents’ relationship with the respondent; attitudes about marriage and childhood family; education, occupation, and childbearing aspirations when the respondent was 18; educational achievement; first job, current job, and work attitudes; childbearing history; household task division of labor; power in decision making; marital satisfaction; leisure time patterns; attitudes toward debt; religiosity; birth control method; family planning goals and attitudes; neighborhood activities; and community and organizational activities.
