Study Description
The Youth Service Network Study investigated how youth-serving professionals and their agencies communicate, refer clients, and share resources among themselves. Researchers conducted 52 interviews with youth service agency directors, with questions covering organization background and structure, relationships with funders, interorganizational relationships, services for clients under the age of 18, and perceptions of the county area’s youth service network. Additional data were collected through self-administered questionnaires of 454 youth service agency staff. These questionnaires gathered personal information, employment information, information about contacts with clients under the age of 18, co-worker contacts, contacts with other agencies, and opinions.
