SRP Year
1992-1993
1992-1993
This project examined the lives of people with serious mental illness. The unique focus for the SRP study involved the organization of the mental health delivery system in Indianapolis. We developed ideas and instruments to find out what organizations and services are available for the mentally ill, how they function or fail to function as an integrated system, and what this means for the morale of those who work in the system and those who are supposed to be served by it. Students were trained in conducting face-to-face interviews and interviewed organizational informants. This SRP was a component of the broader Indianapolis Network Mental Health Study.
